Megan Murcia, PMHNP-BC

I believe that mental health care should feel safe, compassionate, and genuinely supportive. Beginning care can be a vulnerable step, and I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and truly heard from the very first visit. I take time to listen to your experiences, understand your concerns, and learn what matters most to you, so we can work together in a way that feels meaningful and personalized.

My background in emergency medicine has given me a strong medical foundation and the ability to navigate complex health concerns with confidence and care. Working in fast-paced, high-acuity settings also taught me the importance of slowing down, meeting people where they are, and caring for the whole person—not just symptoms. This perspective continues to guide my work in psychiatry today.

My approach is integrative and collaborative, combining medication management with life coaching, lifestyle changes, and practical tools that support overall wellness. Medication can be helpful, but lasting progress often comes from addressing daily habits, stress, sleep, and self-care alongside mental health treatment.

My goal is for you to feel supported and empowered throughout your care. I want you to feel involved in decisions, confident in your treatment plan, and hopeful about the path forward. Together, we build a strategy that evolves with you, moves at a pace you feel comfortable with, and supports both short-term relief and long-term well-being.
